Review: Supercar Challenge

mputwoAdvertisement

There is no element of luck involved as the excellent handling system allows quality driving to be the only king of the tarmac, which makes for a refreshingly deep ride.

Just as the driving is incredibly intricate, so too are there a multitude of possibilities for fine tuning each car. Suspension, wheel alignment and various other aspects can all be manually adjusted with noticeable effects out on the circuit.

Once you are through with the lengthy-albeit-repetitive career mode, an excellent 16 player online competition offers continued fun.

So long as you are prepared for some unforgiving, realistic driving, Supercar Challenge is a blast. It may not have the party-fun thrills associated with arcade racers, but it’s the closest many of us will come to hurtling around at 100mph in a Ferrari.
