Luxury car maker Ferrari has unveiled a unique special edition model in Beijing, one of around a dozen cars in a China Limited Edition range.
The car, whose bodywork was hand-painted to look like a cracked piece of ceramic pottery from the Song dynasty, is the only one of its kind. Other cars in the 599 GTB Fiorano China Limited Edition Collection are painted red and silver. The cars celebrate Ferrari's fifth anniversary in China, a market which is set to become one of the car maker's top five markets over the next five years.
The company aims to sell about 600 units per year in China over the next five years. Ferrari has so far sold 650 units since it entered the Chinese market five years ago, placing the country among Ferrari's top 10 markets.
