They'll doubtless be delighted that a hamstrung Hamilton starts from a meagre 14th, with McLaren doing a rain dance as we speak. But that's about as likely as Toyota competing in next season's Formula One, if reports are to be believed.
As the Formula One circus rolls into Europe, Jenson Button's fine early season form continued with his third pole in five races at the Circuit de Catalunya. A last-gasp dash in qualifying thwarted second-placed Red Bull of Sebastian Vettel, and with dry and hot conditions expected - thus favouring the Brawns - Button will look to extend his 12 point championship lead.
Button's team-mate Rubens Barrichello is third, while Felipe Massa secured Ferrari's best qualifying of the season. The Brazilian starts 4th on the grid.

Elsewhere, honourable mentions to Mark Webber in 5th, and the Toyotas of Jarno Trulli and Timo Glock (6th and 7th), while home favourite Fernando Alonso is 8th. Robert Kubica steered a much-improved - and KERS-less - BMW to 10th.
To the delight of the Alonsomaniacs, world champion Lewis Hamilton failed to make Q3 - his McLaren starts from a miserable 14th - while Ferrari paid the price for resting on their laurels, believing Kimi Raikkonen's initial time in Q1 would see the former world champion through. He starts from 16th, two places in front of Finnish counterpart Heikki Kovalainen.
