Nurburgring stores open their doors  13.07.2009 Nissan Sportscars Shop Germany's famous Nurburgring circuit has seen a flurry of stores open nearby to cater for racing enthusiasts. In the last week, both the Nissan Sportscars Shop and a new Ferrari Store have opened for business on the Nurburgring's new ring boulevard.

Nissan's facilities take up 500 square metres of exhibition space, packed with unique merchandise from Nissan and NISMO.

The company hopes to share its own love of racing with fans from all over the world and to let visitors experience its expertise as a longstanding manufacturer of memorable sports cars.

Every day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Nissan shop, visitors can browse the sports cars and lifestyle products or relax in the Nissan lounge.

There's a GT-R and the 370Z Nurburgring Edition, which is limited to 80 cars, as well as a GT-R SpecV - making this the only place in Europe where enthusiasts will be able to see one.

Meanwhile, the first Ferrari Store in Germany has been officially inaugurated nearby at the Nurburgring.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was performed by Ferrari drivers Felipe Massa and Kimi Rikknen.

The 240 square metre Nurburgring Ferrari Store is spread over a single track-level floor.

This latest Ferrari Store will also include an elegant lounge with a business section for meetings and a relaxation area directly overlooking the track itself.

Major new structures will continue to be added, including the shopping centre housing the Ferrari Store, an events centre, a conference centre and hotels.
