Ong Beng Seng, famous hotelier who brought the Formula 1 circus back to Singapore last year has been granted the Ferrari dealership. His company, Komoco Motors, which also holds dealerships for Hyundai, Chrysler and Harley-Davidson has taken over the responsibility from Hong Seh Motors.
Hong Seh held the tittle for the past 25 years, and still represents other brands such as Spyker, Artega, MV Agusta/Cagiva motorcycles and more. It is still the official dealer for Ferrari’s sister company, Maserati, which is rather surprising.
Hong Seh will still continue to push Ferrari cars, but via the parallel import market. Under Komoco, the first Prancing Horse to be launched in Singapore will be the Ferrari California, an event that will take place very soon.
