Who is Enzo Ferrari?

According to history reports, the Ferrari family were the first family in town to own a car, and the machine undoubtedly made an impression on all their children. By 1946, Enzo Ferrari set up the first of his own factories. There, he focused on building the finest racing cars and granturismo touring cars of his time.

Always having a keen sense of the importance of good press, Enzo Ferrari worked to publish his own journal bulletins (sourced out of his own Scuderia Ferrari racing team news from 1929 forward) and held annual press conferences. Although media reports about Ferrari himself were not always favorable, he succeeded in doing the marketing he set out to do; by having people talking about the car, his name, and the marquee in general, he made his car company and personal name famous.

As such, the name Enzo Ferrari will forever be remembered as one of the founding members of a rare club -- those men who, in the post-industrial revolution period of the 20th century -- made transportation history.
